"You went on a walk or something then some guys ambushed you and cut your throat. I arrived in time to save your ass. Your welcome."

He remained quiet for a while, a bit shocked into silence. "Ye-ha... thanks."

Braken sighed. "I'm just glad you're alive."

"Why would you be concerned about that?"

"Why are you asking so many questions?" he countered.

"I don't have a right to ask questions?"

Braken shrugged and stood up.

Yuri just sighed, rolled his eyes, and stood up as well.

Braken thanked the witch then left the cottage.

Yuri followed behind him.

Braken began walking home.

He pretty much followed him, touching his neck the whole time.

Braken arrived at the mansion and held the door open for Yuri. "Are you hungry or anything?"

"Just hungry."

"Okay. Do you want a sandwich or something? I'll get it for you and you can go back to your room."
