After Aiki's death, Braken locked himself on his room. For the first week he cried but after that he was completely numb. He say in the corner of his room, staring at the wall opposite him. And that's what he did, every day. He only ate when he was starving and didn't drink very much either. He had lost a considerable amount of weight, and he looked horrible, but he didn't care at all.
Ever since I finished watching Pandora Hearts, I've been so vulnerable to feels. -
Yuri's mother came to knock at his door. She herself was not doing so well. She was so feelsy nowadays. "Braken," she called in her calm motherly voice. "Braken."
Aww. ;n; Bby that's terrible. -
Braken got up and went over to the door, unlocking it and opening it. He'd barely spoken in the many weeks that had passed and he preferred to be silent.

"Yuri's awake. He's calling you," she said softly, reaching out to take his hand.

Braken put his hands in his pockets. He walked past Yuri's mother and started heading to Yuri's room.

The hurt expression returned to her face, but she didn't speak about it. Instead she just walked behind in.
Yuri was on his bed in his room. He was very pale and seemed extremely sick. He had lost so much weight from illness that his ribs were clearly visible. But his eyes were open. -
Braken walked into the room and stopped by the door. He stated at Yuri, taking in his appearance.

"Braken.." was the only thing that could be heard from across the room. It was Yuri, of course.

Braken didn't respond or do anything. Just stood there, an emotionless expression on his face that had made its home there.

After a while, Yuri realized that Braken wouldn't come see him. So cries emerged from his throat, though very soft.

Braken heard the cries and sighed, a little annoyed. He walked over to Yuri's bedside.

Yuri stopped crying once Braken came to his bedside. Once he knew that Braken was going to be there, he lifted up his arm weakly so that his hand would be able to cup the other boy's cheek.

Braken would've stepped away from the touch, but he knew that would cause Yuri to start crying again. So he just stood there.

Yuri only kept his hand there, his eyes showing hints of sadness and remorse. "I'm so sorry.." he finally whispered. His voice seemed sincere.
