music 101 NewbieI laughed and layed down on the king sized bed. And everything was quiet. Too quiet. Since when has my stepdad not been talking? I sat up. I shivered as a cold breeze from the window blew in. After getting up and shutting it, I called out, "Dad?"

"Who are you?" I whispered. "W-how'd you get in?" The man smiled. "Let's just say that no locked doors are safe from me." I glanced to Livie, then looked back at the man. "What do you want from me?" "I want for you to come with me. Now." He presses the knife harder against my skin, and I gasp quietly. "I- I'll go! I'll go with you, if you promise not to hurt my daughter." He grinned. "Perfect. Ward, take him out of here." He grinned again. "I've got a girl to look after."

music 101 NewbieI began to walk slowly backwards. I was scared to death and I couldn't even reply. That's when my back reached the wall, and he was still walking forward. I sqeezed my eyes shut and wished with all my heart that josh was here, holding my hand. But instead, I was trapped in my own house. Finally I managed a few words. "Where, where is my dad?"

"Your dad is somewhere you don't wanna be. As for what I want, well," I chuckled. "I just want some fun. And I guess laying seige to a nice house like this one is fun enough." I stare at the girl. "I'm here because this is the best house on the block, sweetie. Any person would kill for it." I smiled a little. "Let's hope it doesn't have to come to that."

"I told you, I want my fun. And so," I flicked a pocket knife out of my sleeve, and began shaving the wooden doorway, feigning bordom. "I want to see you fight me. Hand-to-hand combat only, no weapons. And no killing." I saw her frightened look. "Don't worry. I'll have them go easy on you."
