"She's talking rubbish." I laughed. I looked up at Tori. "You can't possibly believe her."

I stared in shock at the spot Zair had apparated from. I turned to Sage, my face white. "Be careful, Sage," I whisppered. "I think she meant that."

I brushed it off. "She's just trying to mess with us. Honestly I think she's scared." I pick up a fork and start playing with it in my hand. "Besides, if she liked you, which she obviously seems to, then she wouldn't hurt me right?"

'I'm also a cold blooded killer, remember?' I told them both in their heads.

I felt very faint. "Obviously not," I said shakily.

I jump. "What was that?" I look at her. "Tori that was cool! How'd you do that?"
