And yes, they're not the most original band ever, but I don't see them as particularly untalented.
Not all One Direction fans are pre-teen girls with the IQ of a squirrel. It's not really fair to group everyone into the same catagory. I may be a fan, but hey, fangirls terrify me.
You could say that people like them because of their looks. But truth be told, my mind is incapable of seeing anyone as "hot". So that's not the whole deal. I actually like their songs. In particular, Moments, which didn't make it onto the album but should have.
I'll admit that I like them way more than I probably should, but so what? I also listen to other bands, like OneRepublic, The Fray, even Green Day and Secondhand Serenade. -

I have something bad to say about one direction and I dont want to upset naillsbiggestfan ... I use to like one direction until I heard bad stuff about them, they are gay, they do butterfly kisses to each other, and they are mean to big time rush

They aren't mean to their fans. The fans are mean to them. (Well some of them). Sometimes, the girls will hug all of the 1D members except for Niall. Tear. But he just smiles, even though it hurts. :(

And being gay isnt a bad thing. Why did you say that some of the "bad stuff" is that they are gay, and that they do butterfly kisses to eachother? Theres nothing wrong with that...and they arent gay. They have girlfriends. And I dont like Big Time Rush...so...

I don't like 1D , JB, or BTR either, but haters gonna hate and lovers gonna love. Can't change opinions if you want to. Besides, I love R&B music. 1D, JB, and BTR are pop anyways :P
