Post one song at a time and what you feel when you hear it.
Aoi Tori by D=OUT
It sounds quite sad at the beginning, but as you listen, it gives that kind of 'I must go, but I'll return for you' kind of feeling IMO. That feeling of you'll never be forgotten or forget the other. -
You and I by Ingrid Michaelson
At the beginning of this song, there's a simple, calm feeling. It's kind of slow. But as she moves into the chorus, it picks up a bit of speed and a happy feeling. When it becomes a duet, it goes back to being calm. By the time it reaches what I think is a quartet, it's lost most of the calm feeling and is purely happy. It makes you want to sing along, and well, do everything that's said in the song.
I'm not sure if I did this right. I tried, but got lost in the song. -
It sounds lovely. :3

Allysa Lies-I forgot the name of the guy
It reaches deep because its a song about abuse, and I can relate to it. -
Bigger than Love!-My Favorite Highway
Mostly throughout the whole song, the melody was a piano and a light guitar playing. It was calm and relaxing to me. The tempo, was slow in the beginning, but after the beginning, it went a little more fast. I think the song was how your love will go on or something... I'm not good at telling what stories are behind these songs.
So, it made me feel somehow sad and smile at the same time... -
Take a Little Hand - Gabriela Robin
I love this song. Even though it's in an unknown, secret language, I feel like there's a lot of emotion and meaning in it. Most of the song is in a soft, slowish tempo, but about three quarters into it it builds into a strong wave of voices, like a choir. In a way, it's rather melancholy to me, and slightly haunting. I often listen to it as a lullaby. :3 -
Hurt - Johnny Cash
I feel like some of the choices I have made in my life weren't the best and this song makes me face those forgotten choices, and make them better no matter how old they are. The song also makes me feel like 'There's always tomorrow' which is true. All of Johnny's songs make me cry because sometimes, it seems like he's crying on the inside with me. No matter what there will always be another chance for you, no matter how many times you mess up, no matter what you do to mess up or anything; there is always going to be a fresh new day. -
Somewhere out there - James Ingram, I think.
So dramatic and beautiful
