What's wrong with Gaga?
-
I wrote a five paragraph essay about her that I'm kinda tempted to post here now. . .:/

I don't think this would go in literature and I don't want to make another thread so sorry if this seems like spam. :/ Keep in mind, I'm not a very good writter and this was an assignment on role models.
I look up to Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta, better known by her stage name Lady Gaga, because shes inspirational. Shes a singer/songwriter, powerful speaker, and inventor. Gaga writes inspirational music about common problems normal people face. The most meaningful songs she wrote are Hair, Speechless, and Born This Way. Also, Gaga say motivational things for helping people that suffer with problems in silence. Some of these speeches have been in public and others have been during interviews. Another reason Lady Gaga is my role model is because she is an inventor. Inventions include a sunglasses camera, instant digital camera, and a portable printer. Being an inspiration is what makes Stefani Germanotta my role model.
One reason why I think Gaga is an amazing person is she writes songs with meaning. Her songs express dealing with common challenges such as bullying and inspire people to express themselves. An example of a song she wrote is Hair. The meaning of it is having and embracing your individuality. Also, her father had a heart problem and needed surgery. She wrote the song Speechless To try and convince him to get the surgery and it worked. Probably her most powerful song is Born This Way. What this song obviously shows is that people should love themselves no matter what and that everyone is special in their own way. Some of Lady Gagas most inspirational songs are Hair, Speechless, and Born This Way.
Since Stefani has many fans, the things she says have a lot of power and are listened to. She has said inspirational things during television interviews and in public. Gaga made a public speech in Maine against the dont ask, dont tell policy. In the address she stated that dont ask, dont tell is wrong because being gay doesnt affect the soldiers ability to fight in war and that instead of sending the gay soldier home, the hating soldier should be sent home. Lady Gaga also says motivational things during television interviews. In an interview on Ellen she said that she wants her music to tell her fans that its okay to be different and express who they really are. On an episode of Oprah Stefani said that even though many people tell her that she couldnt do something, she still believed she could and accomplished it. For example, she said For the longest time I wanted to paint myself blue for a performance and everyone said, No you cant paint yourself blue! then she painted herself blue for a performance. Germanotta has said inspirational things during television interviews and in public.
I think Lady Gaga is very clever because she is the creative director for Polaroid. She has contributed to the production of the GL20 Camera Glasses, GL30 Instant Digital Camera, and the GL10 Instant Mobile Printer. Gaga has helped make a camera in sunglasses. Germanotta stated that the glasses mix photography with fashion which is something that not many other people would think of. Also, theres the instant digital camera. This invention is a big improvement to the digital camera and is making technology for the modern age simpler. Last, the portable printer is another way Gaga is helping to modernize the world. With a mobile printer people can travel and take pictures without having to wait to get the photographs. Among the inventions of Lady Gaga are the GL20 Camera Glasses, GL30 Instant Digital Camera, and the GL10 Instant Mobile Printer.
There are many reasons Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta is my role model. A few reasons are shes a singer/songwriter, powerful speaker, and an inventor. All of her songs have some kind of meaning. Her songs with the most powerful messages are Hair, Speechless, and Born This Way. Also, Lady Gaga has said many inspirational things, whether it was in public or during a television interview. Last, being the creative director of Polaroid has allowed Gaga to become an inventor. Some of her inventions include the camera glasses, instant digital camera, and the mobile printer. Being a singer/songwriter, powerful speaker, and inventor are reasons why I look up to Lady Gaga. -
