  It's just a jealousy thing really. Sopranos always get the melody, altos have to do the harmony. It bugs me.

  I feel your pain actually xD I'm an alto that hides in the soprano section because all my friends are there, I'm surprised my teacher hasn't kicked me out of there yet. I'm jealous of them mainly cause I want their falsetto >:U

  I'm actually a high alto low suprano but I can go high. It takes some effort though. So that's basically what I prefer even though it is't technically one of the choices.
