Did anyone else grow up listening to him? Edgy memes be damned, Linkin Park was a band that's been in my life as long as I can remember, and I was personally really proud of the direction their newest album took. Just a couple months ago, One More Light was released, and thinking about the subject matter of the song the album is named after is heartbreaking in this context. I wonder if Linkin Park will ever come back from his loss, or if this is the end of them.

Yeah, I never listened to Linkin Park too much. My mom really loves them though. She'd used to sing us their songs when we were little. My friend was so destroyed yesterday that he didn't even get out of bed. Though I never got too much into their music, seeing how destroyed everyone is after what happened hurts and I feel so sorry for the band. I hope they can bounce back, but I'd understand if they didn't want to continue anymore.

I've heard if Linkin Park. I've never heard of Chester Bennington until today. Everywhere is filled with #ripChestBe which increased my curiosity to Google it.

In the End is one of the most nostalgic songs of my childhood, and Linkin Park is definitely on my list of favorite bands, so this is...upsetting, to say the least...Not sure if the band will come back from this but if they do, I don't see it ever being the same, honestly...

I heard about this and it hurts. My condolences for his family and acquaintances. If they don't want to make music anymore, that's perfectly understandable. Ever since I was little, I used to love listening to their songs. Rest in Peace Chester. You'll be greatly missed.

My heart hangs heavy for Chester, his family and his friends. I've loved Linkin Park for as long as I can remember, and I'm saddened he wasn't able to get help in time. May he rest in peace, unchained by his problems and free from his Earthly worries.

I've known Linkin Park through all of my childhood. A Thousand Suns was my favorite album as a kid, particularly because I was obsessed with atomic bombs and destruction. Putting that aside, I already miss him. He was truly inspiring to not just me, but several of my friends and family. I wish there was something anyone could have done..
As for the band, I'm not really sure if they will continue. As others have said, it will be strange to listen to their music and not hear his voice there. However, if they continue, I'm for it. Hopefully they will always remember him in their hearts and will reflect something into their music. If they chose to disband, of course it's understandable. I hope that none of them blame themselves for this, in all honesty. -
Leah Janelle Newbief--- him for putting his family through this much pain. Suicide is never the way. He left his wife and kids behind, leaving the daughter to ask a very heartbreaking question ,
" Mommy is daddy on tour in our hearts?"
WTF!!
People who commit suicide are very selfish, yes I get they go through a lot of pain before they consider suicide but that's just bulls---, THERES ALWAYS SOMEONE WHO CARES!!!
People need to stop keeping in their emotions cause that's what makes them sick and drive them to the point of killing themselves.
