What do you think would be better for someone who wants to get into music: go with a big name record company so your name will get out theremore or go with a more independent label and slowly work your way up? Also what are some of the best record companies out there to work with? Thanks in advance xoxo~Ana

I'd say either way is fine, if you go with an independent label they won't try to change your music, if you go with a big record company, they might do that just to get music sales but you won't be putting all that into your music into it anymore, its like selling your soul to the devil, on the other hand it makes you famous quicker, but whatever knocks your socks!

Wow thanks guys lol I've been looking at record companies lately and I agree I think a lot of bigger named record companies try to change the artist for more sales. I'll also check those out sassy ;)
-

tongue NewbieWith the Internet and Myspace, it really doesn't matter what your label is or whatever. The Internet pretty much allows any band free exposure. You really don't need a major label anymore.
-
Yeah, toungue is right.
I mean, loads of artists have made it that way.
But if you want to keep your music, go indpendant.
If you want money, fame and fortune go major.

How did they produce music? Did they do it by hand? That's a lot of work. Whoa.
-
its becuase for one they had a band before msr that succed but there base player died then came msr but they got rejected cause the record companie said they sounded like everyone else also now the the vocalist of msr is the bass player of thi band called dope and was in a of love show on vh1
-
That kinda doesn't explain how they produce music without getting signed...
