Their old stuff was great but now they sound stupid and repetitive. Will.I.Am is an extremely lazy writer.

"Genius" is a very strong word. There are people whose music I listen to a lot and have a deep appreciation for, and yet I still don't call them geniuses. I personally set the genius bar really high when it comes to music. The Beatles were geniuses. Led Zeppelin were geniuses. Jimi Hendrix and Kurt Cobain were geniuses. Metallica during the 80s were geniuses. The Black Eyed Peas, whether you like them or hate them, are nowhere close to the artists I've mentioned in musical intelligence. This is not debatable.

There's a nice joke.

G-Dragon isn't a genius, but I do think it's amazing how he's really contributed into the hip-hop community in Korean, making that genre more popular there along with other great artists before him.
