I think it's alright. Since I grew up with it because of my parents and plus my cousin once took me to a Brad Paisly concert.

I like Johnny Cash, Merle Haggard, Willie Nelson, Charlie Daniels Band, Goerge Jones, Goerge Straight, Eric church, Jason Aldean, Reba Mcentire, Gretchen Wilson, Miranda Lambert, Kellie Pickler, Brantley Gilbert, Dolly Parton, Shania Twain, and Sara Evans, and much more lol.

I like "real country", which to me is country before 1980. Hank Sr, Johnny Cash, George Jones, and Merle Haggard are undeniably great. I would even throw George Strait, though he's more modern. He has the low baritone that I like to hear from a country singer. Any male country singer worth his salt should sound like a guy you don't wanna pick a fight with. As for modern country, I find it cliched and polished. It doesn't even register to me as "country".

I love country, although I don't really like the old country. Not like there's anything wrong with it, just that what I've heard was the twangy stuff, and I kind of hate that. I do really like modern- modernish country though. Oh, and btw, I think I would be considered a cross between country girl, sporty tomboy, and girly[i]ish[\i] big town girl :P
