And music isn't something you can just "learn" to do like riding a bike or building some sort of household appliance. Sure its good to practice playing an instrument, but if their is no creativity behind what you are doing than no, music isn't your life. -
dani123 JuniorIn your very first post in this thread, you were basically asking a teenage girl who listens to pop music and "claims music is their life" (that's me) to tell you more about the knowledge of complex time signatures, your collection of vinyls/CDs, and how many instruments you play. I did exactly that.

its amazing how music can manipulate people. and the shit that music has turned into.

And this is why I listen to Japanese musicians that have been in the business for at the least ten years. Fuck Justin Bieber and One Direction, they're pretty much the same thing.

The only instrument I can play is my radio, but I like listening to music, I really enjoy finding artists I've never heard before. That line how many cds/vinyls you own, oh my god I should count someday XD in my house we have at least 300 cds, probably more, probably about 50 records, 25ish 8-tracks. and thousands of songs on the computer. none of my family is musically skilled (except my bro, dunno where he got it from), but we own more music than most people.
and yeah mainstream stuff like Beaber and whatever else is "cool" nowadays, it all sucks. Like for real, its not music. its f---ing s---ty noise. whiney voices THAT ARENT EVEN THEIR REAL VOICES cuz they autotune the s--- out of themselves, like really you dont need to be able to sing to be a singer anymore, like what the f---. and they dont sing about anything meaningful. Honestly its the s---tiest excuse for music ever. -
true the "cool stuff" in music nowadays is a pile of shit. it is a sad excuse for music.
