is it just me? but some of the modern horror films don't scare me as much as the old ones. even though the affects are better they seem more action than horror. i'm not saying ALL modern horror films aren't scary, but older ones seem to give me more creeps. maybe because they mostly make slasher films? slasher films never really scared me. maybe i just see crappy movies xD anyone know a scary modern horror film. that doesn't have many sex scenes in it.
that's another thing, to many sexual scenes in horror films for my liking. i wanna get scared, not see to people do it. xD -

Modern day one's are mainly action and gore. I like older movies. My dad and I surf the tv for them often.

I agree by alot. My sister keeps all the good,old horror movies but she has some good modern day ones too. Most modern day ones are mostly action and not really that scary.

I noticed that a few years ago XP Gawd damn,wouldn't even call it Horror anymore.
Which is why I stick to the old ones I have. -

yes. there only gorey and bloddy nowadays. back then they were nice.
