Even though Stephan King once said the same thing (Stephanie Meyer is a s--- writer, she can't write etc) I don't think it's that she "can't write". Anyone can write, eh, if you know what I mean. It's just that her writing style is different to some people's tastes. So yeah, I just think it's the way she writes and plots in the Twilight series.
It's just the writing style :) Every authors is different.
JK Rowling:Mr. and Mrs. Dursley, of number four, Privet Drive, were proud to say that they were perfectly normal, thank you very much. They were the last people you'd expect to be involved in anything strange....

Some people prefer JKs style to Meyers, vice versa... -
And to add: I don't like Twilight BUT I respect the author very much of her success because I want to be part of the writing industry so I respect her and Twilight fans :)

Emma: I didn't 'decide' that she can't write. I was simply saying that I didn't think she could write. What I said was my oppinion, not a expert's oppinion, and my 'decicion' that she can not write extends only to me, not to anyone else. Everyone is entitled to their own oppinion, I was simply stating mine and you are more than welcome to state yours, but please respect people's freedom of speech and oppinions.

I honestly think she's a great writer. I personally loved Breaking Dawn(book) because of how it separates into Jacobs POV.
Her books are greatly detailed, and that's a good thing. Why? If it wasn't detailed, it wouldn't be much of a story- it would be almost like half of the book itself.
I admire her writing and sure, everyone has an opinion, and like Emma said, who are you to decide that she can't write? Her agent took her on board, and she is now an world renowned author!

You don't need to be a good writer to know what's bad writing. Do you need to be a chef to know if something tastes like shit? Just saying -
My mom really likes Twilight.I really don't care much about it because this is all I know about it: vampires sparkle when being in direct sunlight.

The Host, I actually enjoyed.
So I guess it was just Twilight that I didn't like. -
I tried the first book, but got bored in the middle and stopped reading. I might try to finish the first book, but I'm not finishing the series.
