Warriors isn't science fiction. Star Trek, Doctor Who, and books about aliens are science fiction. Warriors is more along a fantasy line. Which isn't a bad thing, it's a good series of books, but you categorized it wrong.

Meeting Sebastian
I couldn't stop looking at his strange tail, the bell was about to ring, but I got distracted. He seemed to notice that I was staring at his tail, he was chuckling, and I realized what I was doing. I was a bit confused, "it is ok" he said, he was smiling a little, his tail was odd, it was like a diamond or crystal was attached to the end. It was kind of see through, but I still knew it was glowing. "I am half space dragon, I was born with it" he said, he was looking at me now, I noticed that one of his eyes was unusually pale, and looked white, the other was light purple. I kind of wanted to know his name, so I decided to ask, "could I know your name?" I asked. "yes, I am sebastian, what is yours?" he asked, "Fallon" I said, the bell suddenly started ringing, I really wanted to talk more, he seemed strange, but nice. I went to my class and sat down, class was starting, but I couldn't stop thinking about him... -

The fact that it is so detailed. And the charicters seem real, as if you are watching this on a show.

Faceless Mystery
A few minutes later after class started, I was doing my work on a paper, I looked up to see some people every few minutes. There was a strange boy with a weird mark across one eye, and instead of normal ears, he had the large round ears of an african wild dog. Another person had a staff nearby, a really strange one, it was kind of long, and on the top, there was an orb like thing, and there was strange marks on the staff, and also crystals in it. I was looking around now, and noticed a really strange person that was moved a bit far away from the others, that person was facing away, and was tall and pale, and was bald. I suddenly noticed that there was tentacles sticking out of his back! And worst, he seemed to notice I was looking at him, and he looked over and seemed to be pointing at his face, but, he had no face at all! There was no eyes or nose, or even eyebrows, everything was blank except a mouth. I was a bit scared now, I quickly looked away and hoped that he wouldn't care...
