As Ive previously stated, I will be hosting a Character contest since a few people die in Year 5 and leave at the end of year 4. Ive stated that I will not be hosting it any time soon but I considered the story plot as I reach the end of Year 4 and I decided to host this contest now!
You all know the rules; one submission per entree. Thats the main rule but other than that, be fun and creative!

Can you explain what you mean by background?

Background is basically your heritage. If you're mixed background, you can write where you got that heritage from. Example, irish and french; mom is french, dad is irish.
You can also I've had people written background stories about their lives, so you can do that as well.
LOL, to make it less confusing; background can be either the heritage or a story about your past. -

Fairygal NoviceI have a question... So will this character be a best friend or close of the main character? Or just a character that is only going to be in your series for a year? Or will this new character be an enemy like Ambrosia? I know I'm asking a lot of questions but I sort of want to know what this new character will be used for. I want to join this character contest because I love your series so much!!!! =D

Haha, well, you can actually define your relationship with the main character, some have stated that their character will become closer the main but it's up to you, it is your character. This character will be from Year 5 till the Battle of Hogwarts which is basically the next 3 years to come. 2-3 characters I've selected will become either friend or foe in my series! It'll be fun and interesting to see! & thank you :)

Background: The character is full Britain; she grew up in London all her life
Or
Background: The character is half-French and half-Columbian; Her mother is French and is a witch; her Dad is Columbian and is a muggle.
That's basically how the heritage part is. You're just explaining more about herself; if it's not clear, I'll try my best to explain further :) -
