Chapter One
A Scream
That was the thing that took me from my dream, and put me in a nightmare. My mother, a kind caring woman, was outside enjoying the fresh air of summer. My father, a strong willed leader, was in the main room watching the news. My mother screamed, my father ran to check on her, and I looked out the window. A man stood there with my mother's limp, and lifless body in his arms. A sword was stuck in her chest and the man held another at his neck. They talked, and yelled untill my father was dead as well. The man dropped them both and came into the house holding both knifes. I hid under the bed and waited for him to find me. He never did. My neighbor, Myrtle, heard all the comotion and cames rushing over. Her horrified screams must have scared the man away for she never saw him. She came in the house running around like a chicken with it's head cut off. Myrtle found me under the bed, crying, and why wouldn't I? After seeing my parents murdered. She tried to get me out from underneath but I refused. When the police came they were able to get me over to the station to be asked a few questions wear my only answer was to cry. Myrtle then adopted me and raised me like I was her own. Myrtle was kind to me when others were not.
Chapter Two
Another Death
Was not somthing I wanted, but was given anyway. It had been twelve years since the man came, and through those years I was happy. I was homeschooled so I got extra help if needed. There were two people instead of one so I had alot more space for all my stuff. We even made our own launguage. I was Fauna-dearest and she was Kailou-new mom. I sat at the window thinking of all the good times when she came in the room with a cake singing a tune I've heard for sixteen years. "Thank you Kaitou" I say to her. "You're very welcome Fauna" she says in turn. "Now blow out the candles and make a wish." I close my eyes, and blow. When I open them Myrtle is looking at me with a peculiar expression on her face. "What?" I ask her. "You wished for them back, didn't you?" I say nothing just look down at the floor. "Sarah, you've got to let it go. They're not coming back." I sigh as I look out the window overlooking the entire town. "I just keep hoping that it was all a dream." I say. Myrtle looks at me with pity in her eyes, "Me too Fauna, me too" She turns to go but stops as if somthing we're holding her back. "Myrtle?" I ask, "Myrtle, are you okay?" As if in answer she falls on the floor, dead.

Chapter Three
The Funeral
Was sad and devastating. I lost the last person who truly cared about me. She was there for me in my time of need. She deserved to have everyone in town come, but I was the only one. I wished I knew what caused it. She was only fourty-eight, had no cut or mark what so ever, and was the picture of health. I said a few words and let the me put her casket down in the depths of the earth. As I walk home I catch a glimpse of what seems to be a large animal in the bushes. I ignore it, I've been reading too much Twilight and now my eyes are playing tricks on me. I walk the rest of the way home only to find that almost everyone from town is here when they were all invited to the funeral. As I approch people turn to stare at me and keep their children close as if I'm going to stab them with a knife. I go inside and put my bookbag down on the bed. I grab my poetry book and head to the one place I can think.
Chapter Four
Poetry Place
Is a store where people buy and sell poetry. I't's the only place where people don't think of me as a crazy kid who kills the people closest to me. I sit down at a table in the back and write my latest masterpice.

The world was cloudy and grey,
Such an aweful day,
The rain dripped on our heads,
And trickled from the roofs on our beds,
Sadness looming all around,
Nobody sleeping safe and sound,
Fear and misery in the hearts,
Trying to look up at the stars,
Sunlight cannot be seen,
Like the clouds are so mean,
No rays of light shining through,
Nothing anyone could ever do,
Sit by the window, and feel the cold,
Not sure how long my body will hold,
Tears trickle down the cheek,
This will last long, maybe weeks.
"That's really good" I look up from my work to see a man around my age. "Thanks" I reply. "Who are you?" "Roy Bart" "Sarah Minx" I say shaking his hand. "Now that you've seen mine I think it's only far I see yours" I say to him. Not because of being fair but because I'm curious to see waht he writes.
a surface without a flaw.
without the breezing touch wind.
calm and stable, perfect reflection of the world in it's eye.
beauty in a glossy surface, nothing but the hum of nothing.
peace and power of dead still calm, and water.
solid stillness, unending darkness, rushing motion of nothing more then time.
still waters decay.
"Wow" I say, mouth wide open in awe. "I have to go. See you tomarrow Sarah!" he calls as he exits. Mouth still open I make my way home, anxious to see Roy again. -
