Trinity Field sat alone on the windowsill as rain crashed down. Her best friend and brother, Hunter ,approached her. 'Hey,Trin.You ok?' he asked in a concerned tone. Trinity twirled the tip of her brunette ponytail and nodded. She'd never been the same after her dad died, if she was terrified of anything,it would be losing a family member or friend.
Her younger brothers, Rino and Jayden, ran down the hallway like roadrunners. Well,nothing's changed there. the brunette thought. Her mother stepped into the room 'Kids,I'm going out for a while. I've hired you a babysitter.' she declared, her warm smile glistened. A young girl with long,straight golden hair and rosy cheeks strolled into the room and introduced that her name was Autumn Samuels. Trinity always knew that behind her innocent appearence, a horrible secret lurked...

As her mother left the room, Trinity looked away from Autumn. Whilst all her siblings eagerly introduced themselves, the brunette 12 year old just averted her eyes. Trinity heard footsteps behind her 'You must be Trinity.' the babysitter beamed, which made Trinity slowly turn to face her. 'Yes,I am.' she whispered. [i]How did she know my name? Mom never told her![/b] she thought

The dark cloak of night had swept over the town,and Trinity thanked God that the day was over. All of the children marched off to their rooms. 4 year old Jayden dragged his sand yellow blanket across the floor. When he reached his room,he clambered into bed,thankful he'd met his new babysitter.
As little Jayden Field fell into his slumber,he felt something take his blanket from his hands. He woke with an stab of unease to see his beloved blanket wrapping itself around his throat! As his vision blurred and he struggled for air,the young child heard a chilling lullaby,sung by a familiar voice. 'If you go out in the woods today, you'd better not go alone. If I catch you in the woods today, you'll wish that you stayed at home.Your screams of fear are my ectstasy. It's all a sudden rush for me, to hear you cry and watch you die, so slowly.'And then there was only silence. -
Trinity woke with a jolt, to find it was morning and that Autumn was sitting on her bed. 'Good morning,Trin.' she smiled. Trinity was led out of her room, to see all her siblings sitting, watching TV. Well,almost all of them. 'Where's Jayden?' Rino asked,just before she could. Autumn told him that she didn't know, everyone else just expected that he'd went out to play with his friends, but the brunette knew something was up.

'I'm going to the park,guys. I'm gonna go play some baseball.' Rino announced as he lifted his favorite bat off of the floor. 'See you later,alligator!' Hunter called back. Rino waved immaturely at his brothers and sister,then left the house.
Rino Field waited for his friends to arrive,but nobody came. He scratched his mop of auburn hair and wondered where his buddies were. Suddenly,he felt someone snatch his bat out of his hands. Rino was about to turn around and see who it was when he heard a familiar voice shriek 'You're OUT!!!'. Rino felt his baseball bat crash down on his head. -
Autumn strode into the house, with four shopping bags. 'I just stopped by Wal-Mart.' she smiled. 'So that's where you were.'Hunter laughed. A thought struck Trinity. 'I wonder where Mom is.' she sighed. Autumn moved towards her 'Trin,I'm sure that her car just broke down or something.' she grinned. Trinity frowned at Autumn. 'Why are you here?'she glared. Autumn put the bags down and whispered 'To take care of you and your brothers.'

Ok,I'm back.
As Hunter played Mortal Combat on his Atari,Trinity had an uneasy feeling in the pit of her stomach. Rino hadn't come home for hours, and there'd been no sign of Jayden or their mom. Autumn turned the Atari game consol off. 'Video games are bad for you, you know.' she smiled 'Anyway,it's bedtime.'. Trinity bit the tip of her ponytail,she always did that when she was nervous. Both kids walked to their room.
'Hunter, I don't think Jayden is out with his friends, or that Mom's car broke down. Or that Rino is with his friends.' the brunette shivered in her bed. 'What do you mean, Trin?' the oldest brother asked. Trinity sighed 'I think that Autumn did something to them.' -
Hunter turned on the top bunk. 'Trin, that is the craziest idea I've ever heard! Autumn is a very nice woman,all she wants to do is take care of us.You should have some consideration!' he snapped. Trinity glared at her brother 'I knew you wouldn't believe me.'. Trinity didn't fall asleep, out of fear that Autumn would slaughter her in her sleep.

Hunter woke up in the night. He heard a door slam. What the hell could that be? he thought. Hunter climbed down from the top bunk and went to investigate.

Hunter's blue eyes glistened as he tiptoed down the hallway. Half-way across the hall, a revolting smell filled his nostrils. Hunter exclaimed in disgust, but kept moving.
A horrible sight met him at the end of the hall. It was his mother's corpse! 'Trinity was freakin right!' he screamed. As Hunter turned around to warn his sister, he was stopped by a dark figure emerging out of the shadows... -
Trinity was startled by something hitting the ground with a thud. She clambered out of her bed to see Hunter wasn't there. 'Oh,no.' she gasped. The brunette 12 year old turned on her heel and searched for Hunter.

Hey! That's a really geat story, Angel! I loved the part where Jayden falls asleep and the blanket wraps itself around his throat!

Trinity knew it now. Rino and Jayden were dead. She was struggling to see if her older brother was ok. He was her best friend. The brunette chewed the end of her ponytail like she'd never chewed it before. The awful smell caught her nostrils.
Trinity finally reached the end of the hallway, and found where the stench was coming from. The rotting corpse of her mom,with a fork through her heart. Next to her, was the corpse of Hunter with one of his videogames shoved down his throat.All Trinity could do was stare in horror and dread. 'I told him videogames were bad for him.' Autumn cackled -
Trinity spun around with tears in her eyes. 'I knew something was wrong, the first moment I saw you!' she screamed at the babysitter. Trinity knew it, Autumn killed her brothers and her mom. Only a few seconds later,she noticed the homicidal woman was clutching a butcher knife.
Trinity charged at Autumn and grabbed her knife. But the insane woman grabbed Trinity by the throat.
