  You promise not
  To ruin her dreams?
  Of course you lie
  Spoil her fantasy
  Rip it apart at the seams.
  
  A shattered crystal ball
  A torn Joker’s card
  All of her games:
  Thrown against the wall
  Shreds and shards
  Now up in flames.
  
  If I let you see
  Her single remaining
  Hopeful imagination…
  What did it have to be me?
  The one who trusted a liar
  The final realization.
