Jayden didn't meet his eyes.

Chester wrapped an arm around him.

Jayd let him, but didn't relax by much.

Chester sighed, pulling away.

Jayden looked up.

Chester looked down, fidgeting with his hands, wings flat against his back.

Jayden leaned back into him slightly, wanting to prove that he still loved him. Then he felt awful for even thinking like that, and for making it so unclear that he had to find a way to prove it.

Chester smiled weakly, slowly curling a wing around him.

Jayden leaned into him slightly.

Chester snuggled close

Jayden let him, smiling weakly.
