Chester was still reading his book. He looked up at him.

"Do you still need space?" Jayden asked, staying standing.

‘No. Could you stay?’

Jayd nodded. He sat next to him.

Chester leaned against him.

Jayden wrapped an arm around him. "Are you feeling better now?"

Chester nodded, looking up at him.

Jayden smiled.

Chester smiled weakly back.

Jayden looked at his book. "What're you reading?"

Chester held up the book. It was titled After Death.

Jayd's brow furrowed slightly in wonder as to why he was reading it, but he didn't mention it. "Cool."

Chester bookmarked the page and snuggled against him.

Jayden held him close. "How are you feeling?"

‘Better, I guess,’ Chester mumbled. ‘I’m sorry I got so freaked out.’
