Chester leaned into his touch, giving a small smile.

(hear me out I might be wrong but does Scared of my Guitar by Olivia Rodrigo feel like a song these two would both listen to when they get into fights xD) -

Chester hugged him close. -

Jayden held him tight. "Can you please tell me what's wrong?" He asked quietly. What are you trying to hide from me? -
(I fully agree it would be canon if they unfortunately didn’t live in the 1800s-)
‘I’m scared you’ll leave me if you find out what I’m keeping from you,’ Chester mumbled.
(Do you wanna drag out the whole murder thing or do it sooner?) -

Jayden sat up. "What?" He asked in disbelief. He wasn't sure if that was possible.
(Hmm... I want to drag it out, but also have Chester tell him either late at night or the next morning...) -
Chester hugged himself, shuffling closer to him. ‘Please don’t make me tell you,’ he mumbled, voice barely above a whisper as he looked up at him.
(Hmm we can have them do it late at night then? I feel like that would be more dramatic lol) -
Jayden frowned. After a moment of debating between himself he decided he wouldn't force him... Yet. "Okay."
(Ok... Do we want them to do it tonight? Or the next night?) -
(Maybe tonight, since Chester was being all ominous about it? And maybe Jayden got so concerned he was thinking about it for the rest of the day, then made him tell him?)
Chester hugged him. ‘I love you. More than anything.’ -
(ooooo yeah ok
And maybe Chester tries to distract him from it by just being super overly romantic which only makes him more concerned?)
Jayden smiled. "I love you too." -
(Oo yes)
Chester hugged him close, resting his face in the crook of his neck and kissing his jaw gently. ‘Love you more~’ he said, trying to go back to normal and act like he wasn’t terrified of Jayden leaving him. -
Jayden held him close. "Not possible."
