Chester sat down on the bed.
(After this day do we wanna ts to the next week or smth? Then we can do the shapeshifting problem bc I think we’re up to that now… the ts just for pacing n stuff?) -
Jayd sat down next to him.
(yeah we're at that point lol, we can do that) -

A week passed, with little to no drama. Chester and Jayden went on a bunch of dates, and the day Oliver came back from his trip to the West Kingdom to see his boyfriend, (that I forgot to mention), Chester woke up one morning, looked at himself in the mirror, and screamed. Not only was a a ginger, which was a tragedy in itself, there were two large holes in the back of his pajamas, with large phoenix wings poking out of his back. -
Jayden shot awake. "What the hell?" He yelled, sitting up. He looked at Chester, relaxing slightly before realizing oh my god he has wings and red hair whaaaat-

Chester stood up and looked in the mirror. ‘Holy s----‘ he said, panicking. He tried to change back into human, but it didn’t work. ‘What the f---!’

Jayden stood up, examining it. "Did you have a nightmare and just kinda...?"

Chester spread his wings, then folded them against his back. ‘I-I don’t know!’

Jayd frowned slightly before playing with Chester's hair. "Well, it's a good thing that you're a cute redhead."

‘No I’m not, I look like a f---ing weirdo,’ Chester groaned, burying his face in his hands.

"No. It's growing on me." Jayden wrapped him in a hug. "D'you think Oliver would know how to fix this?"

Chester buried his face in his hair so he wouldn’t have to look at himself. ‘Hopefully.’

Jayd grabbed his hands. "I think you look beautiful either way."

Chester sighed, looking down at their hands. ‘I don’t know what’s happening. I can’t change back.’
