Oh my gosh, that's awkward. XD Uh, just pretend that the pronouns are he...
-
"Hey Mackie!" I say with a small smile. He smirks at me and shakes Samuel's hand all formal-like. The bus pulls up and the door opens. I see Gillette Gourd, the bus bully, at the front of the bus and she leers at us as we climb the bus steps.
To be continued... -
To clarify, pretend the pronouns I put in are he/him.
I can't talk today XD -
We enter the bus, and as usual, all the seats are overflowing and we can barely find a seat. It's right behind Gillette, the one spot nobody wants to sit. We sit there, because there's no other place to sit, and immediately Gillette starts using us as her next target.
-
I mean, Gillette always has had a thing out for me Mackenzie. I think she had a crush in Mackenzie in Kindergarten but she started to hate us in 1st grade.
To be continued. Can't talk. -
Gillette turned around to face us. "What're you three losers doing?" She asked in a forceful tone. Samuel tensed up. He hated it when Gillette bullied us like she always did.
-
She normally left Samuel alone but I guess today was an exception. “Why are you sitting there, you ugly boys?” Samuel responded with, “Oh, you know, just trying to get to school. You know, without major disturbance.” He can really be calm under fire sometimes. “Well, I know your little sisters secret!” Gillette says with a gloating enthusiasm. Samuel stiffens up and Mackenzie just moves a little bit towards me. I ask her, “And what might that be?” “Your a gender creep just like your friend right here!” She says still enthusiastic. The bus driver yells at us to shut up as I wear a shocked and confused face at Gillette’s comment.
I know…. -
the bus jerks forward and half the kids on it go flying. Im momentarily brought out of my shock as Samuel and Mackenzie jam into me. i can totally tell its going to bruise. i hear squawks and cries from the back and the driver is cackling. "What the frick is wrong with you, lady!?" i yell over the commotion. i'm not the only one trying to get her attention. then we pull into the school lot and everyone starts scrambling for their bags. I swear, i'm going to start walking the mile to school. Mackenzie looks like he wants to kill himself and Samuel puts his hand on my shoulder in a brotherly fashion. the bus walkway is crowded even if we are in the front. nobody wants to stay on that bus.

Me and Mackenzie have the same math class, so we rush to our class and sit in our seats just as the bell rings. We both let out a sigh of relief, and get out yesterdays homework.
-
The side of my paper is chewed up which means Micheal must have gotten to it and chewed it up. Eww! My math teacher, Mr. Garcia, was walking around to check every one’s homework. I look to the side at my boyfriend, Andrew’s homework and see that he is scrambling to finish it before Mr. Garcia gets there. I grab my pencil from my bag and pull his paper to me. Suddenly Mr.Garcia is right next to me. He picks up the paper and points to the name line where I realize Andrew didn’t write his name on the paper. He also points down to my homework where I realize I didn’t write my name on it either! “Miss Amanda, why are you cheating off of Mister Grandes homework?”
Hehehe… -
"I'm not!" I sputtered, but it was no use. Mr. Garcia HATES me and would love any excuse to get me in trouble.
"F for both of you!" He crowed, writing an F in big, red letters on both of our papers. "And next time I see you cheating, I'll send you both to the principals office!
The principals office is bad news for any school, but our school was even worse. You know how they have you spell words in 2nd grade, and they tell you the difference between principle and principal is because "The principal is you PAL!" ? Well, Principal Smith takes the pal out of principal. -
I could feel everyone's stares as i pulled out my math book. Andrew was positively fuming so i put my arm around him but he shrugged me off. I put a wounded look on my face and he was stiffly turned away from me. Then suddenly he turns around and kisses me and i embrace it. But as soon as it started it was over. "Amy, i'm sorry. i can't do this anymore." he says with clear pain running through his voice. "What happened?" i say, with curiosity.
-
Andrew raises his hand and Mr. Garcia called on him. "Can i move, sir?" Mr. Garcia looked mildly confused but pointed to a seat next to Ronald Laker. Weirdo kid. but it was the only seat in the room, so Andrew must have known when he asked. What was going on here? He gets up and grabs his stuff and Mr. Garcia yells at everyone to shut up. "Now that we've moved seats, i have different seats for each and every one of you." Mr. Garcia starts calling students names like battleship. Finally he called my name and seats me in the back next to Avery Hide, the only emo in the 10th grade. she has her bag spread on the floor and her legs are spread out as well. i notice her dark brown eyes under her excessive makeup and long lashes- wait a minute. why am i thinking those things? what just happened? She moves to look away from me and i notice her jeans are just a little tight on her thighs. i bite my lip as she settles into her seat. "Alright, now that your all seated, lets get to work." Mr. Garcia pulls out the Promethean tv and starts to write ζ(s) = 1 + 1/2s + 1/3s + 1/4s + ... you dont want to hear the rest. my eyes glance to the side fast enough to see Avery glancing away from me, and i notice her small earrings and a lip ring. Her lips are so small and delicate. she pushes back her hair and i catch a glimpse of a tattoo on her hand. She puts her hand down with the tattoo facing up as if to taunt me. "Amanda Write! if you would please pay attention to your own paper!" Mr. Garcia yells with gleeful anger.
hehehe.... -
The rest of class went painfully slow, and when the bell finally rang, I headed to my next class, Social Studies, only to realize that Avery was in that class too. I couldn't pay attention to anything my teacher was saying, but not for my normal reasons. I couldn't get Avery out of my head!
-
Science was next, but she wasn't in there, which made me sigh with relief but also hopelessness because she stayed in my head. Mackenzie sits next to me in Science and he is poking me. "Amy!" he whisper yelled so the teacher wouldn't hear. "Amy!" He continued doing that until the teacher came over 5 minutes later. I finally give in because my arm is starting to hurt where he is poking me and we are getting suspicious glares.
