We seriously need to change "Homophobic" to Contra-homosexual or some s---, because Homophobic is, by LITERAL DEFINITION, an adjective describing someone with a fear of things that are the same. Similarly, the literal definition of "Transphobic" effectively refers to a fear of going across something. (Though, if you wanna stretch it, you could say it means getting "across" a fear.)
-
(and yes, the prefix "Homo" means "the same", for you uninitiated folks.)
-
Alternatively, gay/trans people need to get scarier, somehow...
-
[bump]
-
I think you need to stop.
-
what
-
I'm literally just calling out poor english skills, how is that bad
-
Or did you...
Oh my god, don't tell me you're one of those people. -
It's not my fault the people creating words don't know the first thing about English.
-
The people making words and their definitions have made their decisions, yes, but given the fact they are stupid-ass decisions, I've elected to call them out on their bulls---.
-
don't get this, but okay
-
Idk bro, seems like you're pretty scared of gay people ngl 🤢
-
Also, I know what video you're stealing this from and the guy who made the joke, actually made it funny and not a bunch of oversaturated hate about gay people.
Anyway my first language isn't English and even I'm aware that words have multiple meanings that get updated with modern usage.
You're not some smart genius being silenced by the cruel homosexuality...you're a bigot being obnoxious and making gross jokes lmao -
I actually had this thought before I saw that gag.
you're a bigot being obnoxious and making gross jokes lmao
what -
No ravager, no you didn't. Admit it. You used the same joke. You're not that clever.
You're saying gay people should change a word, that straight people came up with.
Words change with context, time and trends.
Ravager, you're being called a bigot for your comments about gay people and trans people. And you can call it a joke or say I'm easily offended, but you know exactly what you're doing.
Cishets can't make jokes about lesbians. Or trans people.
I'm a nonbinary lesbian, and I was personally hurt by your comment, and then the backpeddiling where you call us easily offended.
Like omg.
