Prologue
In the year 2020, two years after the greatest heros in the Arrow Verse settled down, Rip Hunter had finally succeeded in creating an android for Gideon! Finally able to present herself as 'human', Rip Hunter and Gideon got married.
"Welcome back Rip!" Sara greeted as Rip boarded the ship. Gideon got used to her new android body as they chatted. She moved her wrist and stretched, breathing in the air and feeling the installed heartbeat. "Everything's prepared like you told us... I hope you don't mind. But we invited a few friends!" Sara told Rip as they arrived to 2020 Central City. "Not at all! The more the marrier!" Rip replied as they got of the ship. Team Flash, Team Arrow, and other friends attended the wedding.
"Hello Jackson!" Rip greeted Jackson and his wife, Lilly. "Hello uncle Rip!" Jackson's two year old son Grey greeted. Jackson had named his son after the nickname he called his formal partner. "Hello Grey! Are you going to make sure Uncle Nick behaves for me?" Rip asked. Grey nodded, running off to keep the fire from Nick's gun under control.
Meanwhile, Flash was keeping his Daughter Nora calm. "cake now?" Nora asked. Her English was pretty good for a one year old. But screw English when cake was involved. "Cake is after the wedding." Iris reminded Nora. Nora pouted as the wedding began. And let's just say... The wedding ended with these words leaving Nick and Grey's lips. "Oops." -
Chapter 1
15 years later
"Gideon!?! Have you seen Mary?" Rip asked, searching the ship. "Mary isn't on the ship Captain. Her genetics give her the biological ability to travel through time." Gideon replied. "I think you're worrying too much Captain. After all, she always comes back." Gideon added. "Yes, well... It would be nice if my daughter asked for my permission before taking off!" Rip sighed.
Meanwhile, Mary was in the year 1994. She was waiting at a park to meet her boyfriend, also a time traveler. "Hey there!" Lance greeted when he saw Mary. "Hi." Mary greeted, standing up and walking over to him. They walked together and talked as usual. After that, they went to a dance that was going on in that town.
"Your dress is lovely." Lance told Mary. It was a strapless black dress with a free skirt, brown dress jacket, and black high heels. "Thankyou." Mary replied as he put his arms around her. They stared at each others eyes for a moment... And they were about to kiss... When they were interrupted by a loud noise outside. "That would be my father." Mary groaned as Rip entered. Mary said goodbye to Lance and walked out the back door of the building.
"And what were you up to?" A family friend named Laurel asked. She had been waiting behind the back door and stared at Mary suspiciously. She smirked at Mary's outfit. "Were you on a date?" Laurel asked, raising an eyebrow. Before Mary could answer, Laurel added. "Well! We better get another cover story!" She sighed, rushing Mary into the ship. Mary got dressed into a t-shirt and jeans before sitting with Laurel.
"So, who was it with?" Laurel asked. "Well, I've been going out with him awhile now. His name is Lance Snart." Marie told Laurel. "Snart?" Laurel asked. "That name sounds familiar... I just can't place it. Lance is my last name, so that might be what sounds familiar." Laurel laughed.
