(This is how I can tell, I suck at writing. I wrote this at the beginning of the school year.)
Three words flashed across the computer screen as I laughed, not taking the warning seriously. I clicked on the top right hand corner of the page so I could access my profile. As I clicked on the profile picture, the page started to glitch and turn a bright red. I looked at the screen, waiting for the glitch to end, but it didnt. It seemed like the room around me was getting darker and the screen was getting bigger. I took a deep breath and closed my eyes, or at least tried to. My eyes wouldnt fully close, but thats when the video popped up.
Something wanted me to turn away, but morbid curiosity got the best of me. The video started off nice and quiet, but everything went downhill from there. The backdrop turned a blood red and faces started to appear on the screen I tried to get out of the chair but it seemed like I was stuck, possibly even scared of fright. My eyes were glued to the screen as the log off button popped up. I tried to move, but I couldnt and the log-off notification disappeared.
In my mind I screamed, NO!!, but I was helpless. The video continued, but I cant tell you what Ive seen because you will know soon enough. After all, you didnt notice me behind you, while you were reading this. Now, dont look behind you, because no one can help you now. Sweet nightmares. -

Chapter One: Entering School Grounds
Macci sighed as she hoisted her bag over her shoulder. It was another day at school and the semester had just changed. At least she had some reasonable classes, such as art. She walked up the steps and headed inside the school. It was almost time for the bell to start ringing, which signaled she was late. "No, please don't let me be late." she said, running down the halls as fast as she could. She took a deep breath as she stepped inside her first class, just as the bell rang.
"That was was close Miss Macci." the teacher said looking sternly at her as she sat in a seat near the back. "S-sorry." she stuttered looking down at her desk as the teacher started to talk about the lesson they would be learning about today. "Ugh.." she muttered, leaning down to her backpack and taking out a notebook and a pencil. This was her escape from reality. Drawing. As the other students paid attention to the teacher, Macci's pencil moved flawlessly across the paper as a rose started to take shape.
Finally, Macci stopped. She had the odd feeling that someone was looking at her, so she looked around the class. No one seemed to be showing her any attention, so she just shrugged it off and continued to work on the drawing. Time flew by as she slowly finished up the petals and the slim stem. When she finished the drawing, the bell rang and she smiled. "One class down, three more to go." she said as she quickly packed up her things and headed to art class.
The halls were packed to the brim with kids. It felt like she was in a sardine can. So many people were bumping into her and knocking her things to the ground. "Sorry oddball!" someone shouted in the distance as she knelt down to pick up her things off of the floor. "One day, just one day I'd like to show them something." she said, standing up and quickly walking to the art classroom.
As Macci stepped into the room, it was like she had teleported to a different world. "This is the life." she said, taking a seat next to a boy she had never seen before. He had white hair and from what she could see, icy blue eyes. Macci smiled and looked up at the teacher standing up front. Her name was Mrs. Sanders and she looked pretty nice. Not someone you would expect to be interested in art, but she fit the bill.
As soon as the teacher started talking about shading, she felt a tap on her shoulder. It was the boy that was sitting beside her. Macci blushed slightly and looked at him. "Yeah?" The boy let out a stiffled laughed and smiled. "Do you have a pencil, Macci?" he said, looking at her with a grin on his face. Macci looked at him in slight bewilderedment and nodded. "Here you go. And by the way, how did you know my name?" she said, her voice giving her worried tone away.
"I know everyone's name," he said "and by the way, my names Snow." Snow extended his hand and waited for Macci to shake it. "I don't shake hands" she replied, her voice very curt and crisp. "Loosen up a bit." Snow said, as he leaned back in his chair and looked at the teacher.
Macci rolled her eyes. Snow acted like he was going to be the next prankster or jokester. She closed her eyes and decided to listen to the teacher while day-dreaming. A few seconds later, Macci opened her eyes a gasped. She was in a different room, and Snow was standing in front of her. "W-what am I-I doing h-here?" she said as she looked at the 'walls'. They were covered in lightening bolts. Snow just laughed and looked at Macci. "Your kidding, right?" Macci looked at him, slightly confused. "I guess your not kidding." he muttered as he ran his hand through his white hair. "I don't know how I'm going to put this to you in simple terms, I'm a demon. My real name is Surgat and you are my new apprentice." -
Chapter 1
Kala stood in the doorway of the now abandoned home. She had lost her parents years ago, from a werewolf attack. It seemed just like yesterday that her mother was braiding her hair and her dad was playing his guitar while singing the old folk ballads that he learned when he was a young boy. Kala let out and heavy sigh as she turned around and stepped inside the house. The floor was dusty with her footprints and the walls were tinged with the dried blood that had been there long before she had even knew about the place.
The sun rose, the dawn fades, and then we come out to play. she said grinning and watching the sun fall behind the trees. Kala sighed, and then grinned as she felt her fangs slowly extend from her gums. Finally! she said, launching out of the house and into the woods. It wasnt safe in the woods, but she might get lucky and find a hunter that just happened to stay the night in the woods. Her heart hammered in her chest and she darted around smelling the air for a human scent, but the scent she caught made her quiver.
It was the scent of a werewolf. I knew it! I shouldnt have came here in the first place. she said, her voice quivering slightly above a whisper. She paused and listened to the area around her.
Suddenly, there was a rustle in the bushes beside her. Stay quiet, and it wont find you. she thought as she crouched down to the ground. The rustling stopped, and she looked up with a smile on her face. Thank the gods. she said as she stood up, her heart finally slowing down enough to where she could breathe.
Before Kala could move, she felt something tackle her to the ground. What the hell? she said, looking into the eyes of a young teenager. His eyes were a lime green and they sent chills down her spine. O-oh, Im s-sorry. he said standing up, brushing himself off.
Kala shook her head and smelled the air. The scent she had smelled earlier was closer than ever, then she finally pieced together the puzzle. Get away from ME! she screamed, backing away slowly as the teenager turned around. If I wanted to kill you I would have already done so. he said, looking down at his hands and then nodded, as if he was satisfied. -

(Had to write this for JROTC, after thanksgiving :3)
The cold wind blows through the old oak trees as leaves fall to the ground. There arent many people outside, but there is a feel of excitement in the air. I walk up the brick steps to the house that I lived in. I stood at the front door and opened it, but thats when the ground started to shake and tremor. What is going on? I said, out loud as the house in front of me split in two pieces. I looked down at my feet and let out a shocked gasp. My left foot was planted on the left side of the crack in the earth and my right foot was planted on the right side of the crack. As the ground continued to shake, I lost my balance and fell into the crack in the earth. Finally, something hard broke my fall. Oof. I said, as the breath was knocked out of my lungs. I looked up at the sky and it was a dark blue, like it was at night. I looked around dazed and confused, as I realized, I was on a ship. I saw many people bustling around the boat and moving barrels of food. Land ahoy! I heard a harsh rustic voice say, as I looked out at sea and saw land. Finally, the ship slowed to a halt and hit the sand. Where are we? I asked aloud, not meaning to. A woman in a black dress looked at me oddly, Were in the New World. she said, a bit harshly. I shivered as I looked for a way off of the boat, and i found one. They were setting a ramp down, so they could get the barrells of food off of the boat, and then I took my chance. I started to run, then took a flying leap over the railing. My feet landed on the ramp, as I bounced up and down for a second. Finally, when I stopped bouncing I looked toward the trees and spotted a tree that towered above the rest, but there was something odd about this tree, there was a person inside of it. My curiosity got the best of me, and I started walking toward the tree. I didnt realize how far I had gone, until I looked behind me and couldnt see the shoreline. I looked back at the tree and saw nothing, then I heard a short Uff come from the ground. I looked down and saw a native and extended my hand to help her up. I looked at the native in confusion. Why was she backing away? I didnt understand. I took a step toward the native, but I bowed in humbleness. The native stood and tugged at my hair as I let out an insufficient giggle. I heard the native whisper a name Sky Child. It was an odd name, but it would suffice. I stood up and smiled. I pointed at myself. Im Sky Child? I asked, with a goofy grin on my face even though I already knew. I watched her nod her head, then lead me down a path toward a village. I was surprised to see so many people, doing so many things. I let out a gasp of delight and took in my surroundings. Apparently, they were having a feast soon, and someone had already told the other pilgrims, because they were arriving.
I smiled as I saw then set out food, on a small colorful mat. I know I could identify a few of the staple foods such as corn and green beans that had been fresh picked that morning, then with a sudden realization I realized it was Thanksgiving. I didnt know how I knew, I guess it was a feeling, and it just seemed so familiar. Thats when I realized, there was so much that I should be thankful for: my family, friends and everything else I cared about. I looked at the little native girl and smiled, and that is when the ground started to shake again. Oh, no. I said as the ground split in two and I fell down, deep into darkness. This time I landed on something soft and warm. I was on my bed.
I then realized, everything that just happened was a dream, but the indian girl looked so familiar. I jumped up out of my bed and ran to the desktop my parents had in their living room. I went and typed up some thing so I could find my family heritage. I typed in the information that they wanted from me and looked at the results in shock. The indian girl that I had saw in the wood, was my great-great-great grandmas sister. -

(Should I continue?)
I dont even know why Im writing this, but I guess this is what prison does to you. Maybe I should explain myself before I go any further, after all, I do have the time.
Being a villain is something that just came to me at a young age. I would steal things or lie about something. but It was nothing major. When I told my dad I wanted to be a villain he laughed in my face and told me I couldnt be one because I was a woman.
Let me say, I wanted some recognition. After all, I was just as bad as any male criminal, wasnt I? The first time I robbed a bank, I was ten and that caught everyone off-guard, but that never changed my dads opinion about me being a villain. Ever since then, Ive wanted to impress him, but more importantly, prove him wrong. Everyday, I would try to better myself, sometimes even pushing myself beyond the breaking point. But, I can honestly say that it was all worth it. It was worth it because I had finally impressed my dad, but it was the way I did it that still haunts me to this day.
I remember it so clearly, even though I wish I could erase this moment from my memory. I had just come in from school, -
Jake was a normal boy with a normal life. Honestly, there was nothing special about him unless you counted the stacks of comic books and video games that lined the shelves of his room. Jake was your normal teen who wanted something great out of life, but unlike most people he took that step. You see, when Jake was a little boy he had people tell him he was a nobody and that he wouldn't amount to anything but garbage on the street. That he would fail just like his father had before him, but he wanted to make a difference.
Jake started off small. Just selling comic books on a street corner and offering someone a smile hoping that it would make their day better somehow. Day after day passed and many people got to know him better and got to know him for the person that he actually was. Jake wasn't popular in school, like most kids, but having that job at the corner did have it's perks. So many people would stop by and talk to him that everyday felt like it's own adventure.
But, like every story Jake had his flaws. He gave up to easily and got mad easily. His dreams faded like a wasted paper bag and got thrown into the garbage. He had failed like everyone told him he would, but as soon as that thought entered his mind everything started piecing itself together again.
Jake finally got back into selling the comics books and his self esteem rose again, but that isn't what made him a better person.
Jake isn't Jake at all. Jake is you. Do you know why? You started off with big dreams and plans that you wanted to fulfill so badly, that life itself couldn't even stop you, but then it did. Something in your head clicked and you decided to give up and not follow through.
That's when someone handed you this piece of paper and you had faith in yourself again. You had faith, because you know you can make an impact on someones life no matter how small it is.
