"Link! Are you all right, my boy?" With a groan, Link picked himself up off the ground and immediately began heaving. "I think I'm going to be..!" With a final movement, Link emptied his stomach onto the ground and shut his eyes. Gaepora walked over to him and patted his back. "Not even a day after your eighteenth birthday and you are already ill?" Link nodded, getting to his feet and slowly leaning against Skyloft's main gate. "It has to be some kind of magic, it just doesn't feel natural." Link said, looking up at Gaepora. The older man sighed, and turned to the academy building. "I'll look in the library for books about this sort of illness. Meanwhile, you should get some rest, it has been a long day for you." Link followed Gaepora back to the building, then went to his room. He noticed that the sun had already gone down, and wished that Zelda were with him. "Zelda, only your touch can calm my nerves.." Link groaned, before he shut the light off and fell onto his bed.
It was the middle of the night when he awoke, hearing noises coming from his room. His eyes darted to his Knight's Sword, but before he could move, a voice he had longed to never hear from again spoke to him. "Hello again, boy." Demise growled... -
