Demonjoe NoviceIt's about this guy named Winston Smith who lives in the year 1984 in London, Oceania. The book was written in 1949 so this book techicially takes place in the future. The world is post-atomic war where 3 super power, Oceania, Eurasia, and Eastasia are fighting it out for power. In Oceania the government has total power and the leader is Big Brother. One single political party controls Oceania called The Party, their ideology is called Ingsoc which is English Socialism. Winston Smith rebels against the government.
