Here I'm going to share a few of my poems. I would appreciate for all of you to share your feelings through poetry, as well, but, of course, it is not required. Please tell me what you all think of them...

boundless water in an eternity frame of mind
and all thats lost is our time
peaks break through open sky that grasps for land below
mountains climb and topple on themselves.
steel breaks wave and sounds lull us to sleep
all things drift quietly away
forget your cell phone man, it won't work here
my cameras zoom - it captures all that might embrace it
unsteadied ice creates the wake in deeper places
oh darling I cant bare the thought of seperation
the years will pass and we'll forget just how this made us
there is substance in this silence
the proof of what surrounds us.
photographs are a mirror image
look deep and see yourself in them.
seasickness, ancient forests, and water creatures
keep us from thinking about home

I created this poem for this person I really love, but she likes someone else. I do everything I can to make her happy and be a good friend to her, but the person she likes ignores her a lot. It makes me so sad...
Whisper
My rose, my sweet; I am sorry for this crime
A pity I have loved you but never
Said a word. I am sorry that the time
has faded, floated away like this feather
Across this barren, loveless sea of mine
I am sorry that this curse, ripped and tethered
has caused me to love you, your radiant shine
I desire more than friendship, however
Honestly I know, your heart breaks as I try
to comfort you, my angel, but I know
you'll never return this love as my eyes
look away from your ignorant glow
I am sorry I must walk away, not to cry,
But to wait for this silent love to fade and re-grow -
Oh, Hikaru Katsu, that was wonderful. Thank you for sharing your beautiful poem.
Violet Rain
Fleeting sunshine, why did you decieve me?
You promsied to stay, but you're no longer here
What can I do; What can I say to see
Your beautiful face again? Gray clouds near
Seem to hide you, but why, sunshine? To be
by your side is all I need. But why do they fear
this? Why is our love wrong? Is love not the key
to happiness? We belong together, as peers.
But, not only that, but as more, too!
As fading silvers follow me in the sky
I can see your joyous smile. It's true
my love blossoms for you, but I can't say goodbye.
Not yet. But I grin as I see you return!
As we kiss in the rain, my happiness burns -
Listen
A delicate heart, made of glass. That is so
Like me, to cry in silence. For now, forever,
Eternity will not destroy my feelings. Show
X-rays; reveal my heart to be never
Achieving of no more than grief. But why know
Even of the smallest affection? Why sever
Little happiness we have now? Because, to grow,
If only subtly, we must risk. No--I endanger.
Zero notes of harmony sing as I
Aim for your love. Well, ha ha, guess what? Believe
Beyond what others say. Believe as the sky
Easily fades to black, that I'll return, not leave.
To be honest, I'm surprised you haven't seen
How quickly I'm back for you, my queen -
Awesome poems!
-
Thank you~ Actually, that last poem spells out my love's name(every first letter of each line). That one means the most to me. That, and it's also a sonnet. I just love sonnets. ^_^ I also love you, Alexa Elizabeth. Biance, would you like to write a poem here?
-
Heartbroken
I said i loved you,
You said you loved me.
They say,
If you love something set it free.
So,
Why havent you returned. -
Sure,here's one:
Heart like and angel,
A voice like bells,
In a quiet, big room of music.
Little as a kitten,
Elephants bigger,bigger,bigger...
Instead of a devil,
Great as an angel,
Harmy getting made... -
Wow! Those were great poems! ^_^ You all have a lot of talent! :)

To the West Side
A calling voice into the night
Grows faint yet still holds alarm
Was it all just a dream? Where am I now?
Can't tell if we're still in the way of harm
The army is coming at a steady pace
The child cries into its mother's arms
Over the wall is a place of freedom
Your confidence is your lucky charm
One wall running through a whole city
One side brings salvation, the other pity
Most will not make it, one after another
Will fall to save my infant grandmother
At first I wasn't 100% sure what I was writing but it turned into a poem about the Berlin wall. When my grandmother was a baby I heard that she was basically smuggled to West Germany. Really dangerous situation, but for some reason the poem took a turn that way. Anyways awesome poems everybody! -
Ah, epic poem, Anastasia! Wow, that is a risky situation Awesome poem; it really reflects that.

Dude, there's a thread called "Poem" for you to write all your sh1t there, no need to make a new one, ya know.
-
...Thanks, ILM. But, I really don't consider poetry 'sh1t'.

IvystarGecko NoviceOkay here is a poem I wrote just now. It is to explain my feelings now and when it happened, when my beloved baby pet leopard gecko died. I really loved her as my daughter.
"I used to love life
Now I wonder what it is.
I know only strife.
Now I wish for past days
I used to love you
Now I can only mourn
Too sad and too true.
I thought together we'd be
Till one afternoon
I came and found you gone, free
Free to play, with joy
But the love we always held
It is waiting for you.
The enemies we could have felled
Killed you and tried to kill me.
Now I wait for my death.
Why did this happen to us?
I await my final breath.
Your death healed you
As I never could
But I grieve, too
As for you I'm glad." [heart
