Erza x Sho
WARNING: Contains Spoiler for the anime/manga Fairy Tail
Sho slipped on the card dealer's attire, his eyes full of excitement. Jellal had sent him to get Erza; Of course, the other three were there, but they didn't matter. Sho was the one in charge of grabbing his sister. The others were simply knights fighting off her dumb friends.
As he looked at the clock, his excitement shot up like a rocket. One more minute, and he'd be able to go see her. The rules of the game had to be followed. He'd wait until it was time for a switch out of dealers. Then, game over for his darling Erza's freedom. She'd be a red crested bird trapped in the tower that she should have been building.
Sho fingered his ear piece, his nimble fingers stroking the crystal dangling near his face. This is so simple, but beautiful. I bet sis will love it, because it's just like her. A smile broke out on his face. He had kept his crush on her a secret to his friends. Simon was the one he really had to keep it from. He liked Erza just as much as Sho did. If Simon knew how he felt, there would be a competition. Or rather, there would have been. Erza was a sacrifice for Jellal- A small price to pay for luxurious freedom. Her sacrifice did upset him a bit, but it couldn't be helped.
Finally, it was time for him to go see her. His lovely Erza. His face fell into a serious expression. With calm strides, he entered the resort's game grounds. There she was, just a few steps away. He went over to the current dealer. "Dealer change," Sho said smoothly. The dealer nodded, muttering, "R-right," before leaving.
He suddenly smiled, pulling out a deck of cards. His love had managed to ignore him. She looked like she was enjoying her stay here. "...Why don't we enjoy a special game? Except we won't be betting with coins... Let's bet with our lives." He flicked out five cards in front of Erza. They all had a single letter, and they spelled a single, terrifying word: DEATH.
Sho held back a laugh as Erza's head whipped up. Her mouth was widened with slight horror. "S-Sho..." She muttered. He directed his smile to her. "Big sister. It's nice to see you again.. Such a pretty dress." It was a simple job. He was to distract her until the others had safely knocked out her new friends. But his heart started to get to his head. Sho had an impulse to kiss the redhead, to embrace her, to run away with her.
The two were silent as they stared at each other. Finally, Sho leaned in close to her face. His lips touched her ear as she whispered, "Don't worry, Erza. I'll get us out of here in record time." He held up a blank card. "Card magic: Card dimension!" People let out startled cries as Erza disappeared. Sho held up the card he had been holding up close to his face. Erza was inside of the card, shouting his name, banging her little fists on the cover.
He glanced around at the crowd before fleeing for the exit. He slipped the card into his jacket pocket. "Sho, stop! My friends are in there! I can't leave them behind!" Erza yelled from her little prison. Sho ignored her and continued to run until he got outside. His chest was starting to heave with the effort of running. "T-Too bad, sis. I'm getting us out of here. I'm getting you out of Jellal's punishment!"
The card mage scrambled down the beach to a boat. It was a classic one, not full of much of anything- And there was enough space for two. He had already planned it out. He would take her out to sea, release her from the card, and then take her someplace far away from people. Then it would be just the two of them.
