I've met Darren Shan and Jacqueline Wilson. My sister has met Yan Martel.
But I hope to meet Eva Ibbotson.

Ha ha! Your torturer since 4th grade? What does he write? And is it for teens like us or are you the boring adult books person?

LOL no my torturer is Erik Black!
Eric Walters wrote "Safe as Houses" (it's about a flood) and "Sketches" homeless teenagers who go to a place called Sketches that lets their creativity flow, its really good! -
Does it have any rude stuff? I ain't comfortable with that sh1t, sex is on TV shows, why did you have to go and ruin literature too?

Yayz good idea for a thread Roady! You might hate me for this but...
Last year two writers came to my school in Texas! The first was one you may be familiar with: Rick Riordan, the author of the Percy Jackson series. That was really cool! And the other was a woman whose name I cannot remember at the moment but wrote fantasy/adventure. I love meeting writers, famous or even people in my life who just love to write.
Now writers I would love to meet:
JK Rowling (genius!)
Phillipa Gregory (good historic fiction)
Mitch Albom (very good writer)
and many more I cannot remember this moment. -
Aww, I bought the first Percy Jackson book today! I would have LOVED to meet Rick Riordann.
