Oh my gods!!! I only read about eighty pages, but it was still good!!! I'm so happy yet so sad for the fifth and final book! :') And, I love who Rick dedicated The House of Hades to, especially his small message . . . Oh gods, I feel like I'm about to cry since the series is almost over!
-
*Is already crying*
Oh gods. It's so beautiful.
I CAN'T HANDLE THIS OKAY -
I KNOW RIGHT?! It's just so sad :'(
-
E'yup.
I'll probably be bawling by the time I'm done. -
I ordered it today 'cause my parents wouldn't go out and get it... D:
But after Rick Riordan finishes the Heroes of Olympus series, he said he's making a series based on Norse Mythology. -
MysteryPower NewbieA Norse series, you say? Should be interesting to see how close he gets....
-
Ooh! My copy is on it's way! Can't wait!
-
YES I own it.
-
Actually, it's not the last book. In the back of my copy, it said there would be another one released in Fall 2014.
-
Yeah I know... Heroes of Olympus is a 5-book series.
But I am curious to see how the Norse series would work... I guess we'll see when the time comes. -
I think it's rumored that the Norse series will also be half-bloods/demigods.
-
I heard that too.. When I did I was like: "A son of Loki?"
-
Oh gosh, the face made me laugh XD And, I'm guessing it's probably gonna be a son of Odin, since, ya know, his pretty major. I'm kinda hoping the main character will be a girl and he won't add romance in for her. I understand that the main character will probably be a boy since Rick is also a fellow male, but still a girl can dream. And, the romance thing, I just kind of like thinking that it shows you don't need to have a spouse or partner. I mean, for example, Merida in Disney's Brave, I'm pretty sure she didn't get married in the end, which I really like cause it shows that a prince isn't everything and that you don't need a guy to be a princess and such.

Neon- Yeah, I see what you mean. It would be really cool of the main character of that series was a girl without a love story. It would definitely shake things up a bit.
-
Yeah, the main character as a girl without a love story. That would be cool, especially in Norse myths the female characters have always seemed more independent than in Roman and Greek.
