Okay, this is just a backstory of one of my CoFS characters- Telka. Angel Fox wrote it for me, and I think it is pretty great. :)
I sat in my owner's lap, purring like a car motor as she stroked my back. Wilson, the shaggy mutt my owners adopted after me, sat jealously on the carpet, tail thumping sternly against the ground. I was glad. I always disliked Ol' Willie, never trusted him. But I refused to let myself rake his face when he began undergoing the "Beg" procedure: whimper, shake tail wildly, widen eyes, and roll over. Following this stupid and pointless routine was to chase that wild tail until the owners finally took the hint and rubbed that moron's belly. It was so foolish; all he had to do was wait, still on the floor, until someone picked him up. It was that simple.
I smirked victoriously at the mangy mutt, knowing his c---y plan would never work. But I was wrong. My owner actually took the bait-- shoving me off her lap JUST so she could PET the stupid thing!! I knew I wasn't supposed to hiss with Angelice around, but I couldn't contain myself. A vicious growl thundered in my throat, and it became a screech as it escaped my mouth.

Sorry, in that last post I have no idea why it says "c---y". Angel did NOT swear. The filter is so messed up, I'm sorry!

Now it was Wolson's turn to taunt me. Now it was HIS turn to get all the affection. I hated it.
Something has to be done, I thought. -
That I night I spotted the dog sleeping with my owner. "Seriously!" I hissed softly, infuriated. "Angie never allows ME to sleep on the bed!!!"
"That's because you're a shedder," replied a taunting voice.
Wilson.
"Or is it that cats make terrible companions?"
I glared ice picks at him. The anger brewed within me. "But I guess Angelice doesn't know about your flea issues!!" I shot back. Since it was HIS turn to get all the affection, it was HIS turn to get angry.
HIS turn for jealousy. -
"Oh, and I'm sure she will absolutely LOVE your scrabble claws scraping her all night!" Noticing the mixed feelings in Wilson's dull black eyes, I decided to continue, adding, "...at least I can pull my in..."
And that was enough for the impatient mutt. He began howling and barking ferociously. And, duh, Angelice was awake in a snap. "WILSON!" she roared louder than any of the dog's roars. She ripped the sleeping mask off her face and scowled down at Willie. I smiled. This was all too perfect!! Well, perfect until that darned mutt decided to chase me all the way into the living room! Stupid hound. -
Suddenly he crashed into a table, and stopped there. What was he doing?? Well, turns out, that mange did it on purpose. He backed away, and raced back to Angelice's room.
Paralyzed by fear, I watched in horror as his plan went to work right around me.
The tipped table bumped into the chair, which crashed into another chair, which fell into the sofa, which tumbled upon the huge bookcase, which smashed the lamp.
And other stuff.
Man, why did we have so much furniture?!!
I was standing right in the center of a bombastic crime scene! -

Got it! I just copy parts of the story at a time from AF's email. You know, to build suspense... :)
