  Today in my language arts class, we were learning about poems. (^-^) And mrs. Maurer (my teacher) was saying that anything bad, like abuse, sexual or pyhsical, she has to report to the state. And a couple years ago, when she was in her poetry unit with another class, a girl who was cutting herself put it in the poem, and Mrs. Maurer report it to the state, and the girl got help.
  
  I find that story very sad, but also very touching. The girl couldn't find help, so she expressed it through poetry.

  Literature has always been a way of expressing one self, that's just a fact. :)
