houndoom Newbietopic. what are you inrested in? what does tmothy like? for me, its a bunch of fantasy and magic related things. without a topic that your intrested in, its boring. if your writing a topic with nothing that intrests you about it, its like your la teacher telling to to write some stupi assihnment. its boring and its wasting paper.
characters. make intresting characters that hav cool and or uniqe body forms or personalitys. or both. dont make them normal unless they are background characters. but try to make them a little uniqe at the least. -
Well, I'm interested in making fanfiction but I'm just afraid that I'll get the characterization wrong.

Fanfiction is a lot of fun, but you have to know your story. Right now I'm writing a fanfic, and the book I'm writing about is right beside me so I can look you anything I need. If you know the book well, you'll be able to know if you got the characterization wrong. Just close your eyes and think of all the scenes you've seen that character in, then apply those scenes to what you're writing. What does the character do in stressful situations? How about peaceful ones? How does he/she respond to romance? Etc.

Fanfiction is what it sounds like. Fan. Fiction. Depending on the type, and what you're basing it off of, characterization doesn't matter. There's so many fanfictions where the characters are soo different from the original. You pretty much just make the characters your own.

thereis o right or wrong character. but don ask me. it comes to me easily. i know a websitecalled missliterati or somthing like that where you can mke books and make it to where people will read them
