  I followed Lermeck's advice, and soon we reached the market. I walked to a food stand. "Can i have the money, Furtim?" I asked. I looked around after he didn't answer and he wasn't there. I tried to figure out where he could've gone. I then noticed the local bookstore. "Oh heavens..." I said to myself.
