My eyes fly open as I take in my surroundings. Wherw am I? Not the slightest idea. I think back, but everything is fuzzy. All I remember... some man... something about... my mother? A sharp rap on theb door makes me jump out of my thoughts. My mother walks in. "______, what happened out there?" She asks. I wonder why that is her first question. "Where am I?" I growl. "Somewhere safe. What happened?!" My mother demands. I back away from her a little. "Some man, something about you... my father?" I say stupidly. But my mum must have understood something, because she groaned and looked worried. I could feel some strange emotion flooding from her... but what was it? I couldn't even begin to ask. "Mum?" I ask nervously. "_____, we need to leave. Now."
