I barely knew him
He barely knew me
I knew he liked me
We hung out
Lack of words
Awkward, empty air
Filled the large gap
Between us
Looking for a new guy
To toke with
I found out he quit
Now what?
The decision I made then,
Time nearing my curfew
Is one I'll never regret
It changed everything
All the awkwardness,
Uneasiness,
And searching for
Something in common
It all dissappeared
The moment I kissed him -

A new feeling
Everything was right
He was perfect
This moment should never end
Maybe he was just
A damn good kisser
Or maybe there was
Something more to this feeling
Maybe we were
Meant to be together
Or maybe
I was in love
Not love as I knew it though,
I didn't even like this guy
I knew love as
Some classmate crushes
But this was much deeper than that -

This feeling
Still deeper
And always growing
Now we're dating
Because of that night
The feeling,
It must have been love
But no matter how much
I say "I love you"
It never seems
To be enough
To describe
How I feel about him
Is there a stronger word for love? -
I wrote those, if anyone likes reading poetry and actually likes mine, this is the sappiest Ill ever get, i promise haha. but theres more poems I wrote on here. some recent but most are un-dated.
