I live in New York. It's supposed to come right up into New York. They're saying that Sandy has the potential to be a historical hurricane just like Katrina or Irene. We might not have school on Tuesday because of it. There's the possibility of snow coming with the storm. Is it weird that I actually am hoping that we have school on Tuesday? I dont really want Sandy to blow the power at my school, but I also somewhat do....
What are your thoughts on Sandy? -

xxxSOUNIQUExxx Newbiemy school lost power we were out monday and tuesday but the hurricane wasnt that bad

It wasnt as bad as it was expected... Some of my friends didnt have power from sunday/ monday til wedensday, and some (like me) didnt loose power at all. It only flickered for me. I thought the sound of the wind was cool. It was mostly wind though. There wasnt really much of rain, only normal amount (weve been having a lot of rain lately). Although, about an hour and a half south of me... NYC got it so much worse. Did anyone hear about that crane that was hanging off of the building?
