Back then when I had it that I lived in the USA, the people I know now would always try to speak to me in English. And I told them a thousand times "You guys, I speak Spanish. Mexican. :I" But they always tended to forget.
So now all of a sudden when I change it to "Mexico", it's like "OKAY SHE SPEAKY ESPANISH." Then the Engrish people that come still comment in English because they can and they never really notice anyway.
It took me that much. :I
So yeah, I'm thinking right now "Maybe I should explain myself right now, because they may start thinking that I moved back without telling them anything. xD"
It's all for the benefit of myself and le others. :I
Also then it's better like for me because hey, then I don't have to change it in five years. xD But seriously, the whole country things gives people an impression of what language the person speaks. I don't like seeing others struggle, and I was going to do it at one point eventually. So I went with it. :I
AND THIS, MY DEAR FRIENDS.....
Is what happens when you can only make friends with touchy Argentineans and Chileans on dA. Not even with a Canadian because I'm so shy. Those other two force you into fun convos. :I
Okay, that's it before this turns in a racist direction.. If that hasn't already happened. -
Ah, that's cool, mi amiga. :3 That makes sense because everyone thinks Americans only speak English, so it would be good to go with Mexico for more Spanish speaking stuff.
