What language should I focus on learning right now?

Okay so I really want to learn both languages but I'm having a hard time deciding. I love Japanese because of the culture and if I learned it I could understand my music/anime more. But the downside is I may not be able to use for a while since most people in Maine don't speak it.
French is cool too, I could use it a lot more near French Canada and it's more used in America. But I don't have as much motivation for it as I do Japanese.
I want to learn both languages at some point, but what do you think I should work on right now? -
Anyone?

I'm a bit biased to French because I'm Canadian, but then again, I speak Chinese, which is close to Japanese
Japanese is really hard to learn
French on the other hand, nearly the same as English lol, way easy -

Hmm thanks guys! Idk... I like them both a lot. French is really easy lol I know a lot of French already. Though right now I kinda want a challenge.

You should TOTALLY go with whichever one is more pratical! I mean, if you think youll more likely travel to Paris some day THEN learn french
Or if you think youll go to Japan -that would be stinkn awesome- THEN learn japanese -

tongue NewbieFrench would probably be more useful, so you should study it at some point. But Japanese is a really cool language, and frankly Ana, I think that's where your heart is. Follow your heart now- you can go with your head later.

Wowz thanks everybody I think you're right I really love Japan so I may work on Japanese first, but I definitely want to learn French too.
