That's what I plan to say next time someone asks me what kind of genetics I have.
It's true.
Irish? Scottish? Welsh? Swedish? Dutch? No, Clusterf---. -
Same, I don't even know my full heritage. .w.
My grandmother's German and my dad has Slovak, Dutch, Austrian and Polish in his heritage. Still, the rest is basically unidentified/probably English. -
What we're wondering is how the hell we have so many files in our tree from England when there was only 1% English in the DNA results. They didn't break down the different types of Celtic/Gaelic, though, I kind of wish they did.
Also, Kuykendalls. Kuykendalls everywhere. And a guy named Cadwallader Jones. And Vikings.
I like solving puzzles, and this is a puzzle here. -
Hm, that is strange. My guess is that they might have more files regarding English family trees compared to other nationalities. Are you using Ancestry.com?
Nice, I haven't heard that name before. Sounds cool.
Puzzles are fun. -
I know a few of the "English" were actually Scottish, and I found a Llewelyn or few amongst them (don't think that's an English name), but that only accounts for a few.
We're using that mostly.
WE ALSO FOUND A KOOL SOMEWHERE NEAR THE KUYKENDALLS. It's become a joke. -
I've looked up some of the heritage on my mom's dad's side, and it's mainly English people, but I found some that were from Scotland, Ireland, and Wales as well. Then I even found a French ancestor, and a Swiss one.
Kool's the last name? xD That means you literally have koolness in your genes.
