What actually is a promoted quiz.

i think it means the site's algorithm selected it as a good quiz but im not totally sure

I think it has to have been taken a certain # of times to end up there?

I don't think so. I've seen quizzes that have been taken like 30 times up there.

lightemup is right it needs to be taken a certain no of times but in a short period to get promoted

Are you using the google search bar at the bottom, or just in general? I've noticed that when I use the search bar, I can only see a few of the questions.
