Alrighty, people. Here's some (mostly) fool-proof recipes for people who can't cook. Or those who can, I don't care. Jusy some easy-peasy recipes to make simple meals if you're feeling a bit peckish.
Feel free to submit some of your own for the good of everyone else.
RAMEN. Don't burn this s---.
Okay, so I read a few days ago that someone burned ramen.
What. The. f---.
Nevertheless, here's a way to cook those wonderful, cheap, artificialy-flavored noodles WITHOUT bringing shame to Nissin and Maruchan.
Step 1: Boil water. That's right. Put water in a pot, stick it on the stove and crank up the heat. Or use a water heater like some people use for tea. Doesn't matter, just boil some water.
Step 2: While waiting for it to boil, open that packet of noodly goodness and put it in a bowl of your choosing. Make sure this bowl can withstand some heat because things are gonna be getting steamy. No, don't put the seasoning in yet.
Step 3 (optional): Break up the ramen if you eat it wrong. Still no seasoning.
Step 4: Once the water has boiled, pour some over those noodles. More. More. Cover the noodles in water. Some of you kids might have to get an adult for this. There's my disclaimer, bam, not responsible for any injuries. No seasoning still.
Step 5: QUICK GET A PLATE AND COVER THAT BOWL DONT LET THE HEAT ESCAAAPEEE!!!
Step 6: Do something for 5 minutes. Drink some water, make some toast, post a thank-you to me on here for the recipe. Doesn't matter, just leave the bowl alone for 5 minutes.
Step 7: Take the lid/plate off that thing and stir up the noodles. They're limp, but still in a block. Make it look like a bowl of noodles and not Lady Galadriel's hair.
Step 8: Drain the water off into the sink. Leave a little in if you want. Your ramen, not mine.
Step 9: Now you can dump the seasoning in.
Congratulations. You now have not-burnt ramen made a little bit more like the Japanese make it. You're welcome.
