Dear GTQ Guy, I have made the proposal before that a select few members should be given administrative rights to act as an authority figure for your rules in your stead. You aren't here often. I can understand that. But the users who don't know you or don't care for your rules, understand that they can get away with things while your gone. No amount of security system will ever be able to do what a single actual person can do. Please let those of us who actually want to see this place stay good and decent, defend that ideal. The ability to delete posts or threads, the ability to ban accounts even for a while; those are powers that you possess the only form of authority that actually holds any weight. I've had several good years on here. I've met some of the best people I know. I've had a wonderful time growing up with the GTQ community. But it saddens me to see what this place is becoming. I miss the GTQ I used to know...

I agree with Bob. I'm sick of seeing all these trolls on here who harass everyone, and knowing that there's nothing to be done. We can't make them stop, and, in all honesty, you're not an active moderator on their behavior. I would also like to see administrative power passed to some trustworthy users.

I dont know if i should get some but really its just scary. Its just wow. GTQ was not even like this in the begging of the year when i joined. Please give some people admistraiton,it would help alot. Like delteing posts or threads,reporting or banning Users. It would help alot.

This would help Gotoquiz extremely if we had a few administrators. You are not here often which is understandable, but some people need help and it looks like you need a couple partners too. I'd like to see GTQ turn into a better place.

I agree completely. Think about it, GTQ Guy. With other users helping you out, stress levels will go down and things wouldn't seem to horrible. With the responsibilities shared, it would be a lot easier to keep the site under control, even in your absence. I personally think this is a splendid idea.

As to Coolio's suggestion on this matter, I say we shouldn't elect. The newer people are most likely going to side with the other newer people, since older members and newer members tend to not get along very well. (This isn't always the case, but it does happen)
Also, GTQ Guy would have to be careful in his selection of moderators. If he were to pick someone with a grudge against another user, things would turn out badly. But because he's not on often, I'm not sure he'd be able to tell the biased from the un-.
But, all in all, I think it's a good idea. GTQ could really benefit from this. -
This sounds like a great idea,but giving users that kinda power..I dunno.I mean I know there are some trustworthy ones on here but I don't like the idea of other users having that ability over others,its like I dunno.Personally I just feel uncomfortable with this whole idea.Like I know its just a mess here these days and we could use another helping hand around and what not.But whatever,I'm only one dude.
If this does pass forward-choose wisely as hell.And leave the administrators a set of guidlines for them to follow as well.So they won't ban accounts or delete things that didn't need to be erased.
These are my suggestions,lots will disagree,but what the hell.GTQ Guy you do what you think is best.
