Just saying- if I for some odd reason end up with this power, I swear on Klingon oath of honor that I will ask before changing anything.
As in, I will have a thread for voting and what not.
This should probably go for anyone who might get this power, should this idea go through. -
sick- when I talk about giving admin powers, I do mean limited powers.
I personally thought that a checks and balance system would work. Any major decision would require at least 2 admins consent to be enacted. That way no one person can go mad with power. -

I don't think admins... well, there should be admins, but how about with limited power? Like...moderators?

A good idea but GTQ Guy hardly knows any of us. Why would he trust a few random teenagers to run a site he's worked this long on? Then there is the whole hacking of accounts and people abusing privileges. I'd rather he choose someone he has can trust in real life than leaving it up to a few kids who visit his forum on occasion.

He may not show up very often, but he has demonstrated before that he does remember some of us. He made a comment once that he preferred a profile picture that I hadn't touched in months.
He's also been open to requests from users before and shows that he is willing to work with people. Even if the conditions are negligible.
GTQ Guy might not show up and chat with people every day, but I would say he knows some of us pretty well. He knows how some of us act and our goals and desires. And I believe he knows who he would be able to trust with moderator powers. -

i agree with bob.
as i remmember the first days i joined,gtq was a happy and fun place..but now..it changed alot.. the old users left or just talk to the other old users.but befor everyone talked to everyone..i don't know the rule breaking is the only reason or not but i know someone should save here!
