I know we just got this huge update and all, but I do have a couple of ideas that I think would be really useful/more appealing.
1. Have the avatars that are beside threads update by who posted last. I feel like that'd be really nice, rather than having every thread be "marked" by the avatar that someone had when they first make the thread. It would also help people keep up in conversations or roleplays (i.e. if you're in a convo and I post, my current avatar would come up. if someone else posts after me, their avatar would show up). I know a few sites that work like this and I would be happy to link them so you can get a better idea of what I mean.
2. Bring back a search feature. There are several instances where I wanted to find a thread, user, or quiz but couldn't find it without HEAVY searching. I haven't checked since the update, but there was a way to use the old search system by clicking the "Change Your GTQ Password" at the bottom of the screen. I would be grateful for the search feature to come back.
3. Add, Change, or Remove some forums. A lot of users have come up with fantastic forum ideas that I think would be used a ton with our current userbase. To name a few:
1. A forum about homework or school-related questions. We have several middle school, high school, and college students using the forums. You could call this forum "The Schoolroom," "The Classroom," or something more suitable.
2. A forum about fashion, make-up, beauty, and appearances. Both male and female users could make use of this forum for a wide list of things. I personally don't have any name suggestions, but I'm sure you/other users could come up with something.
3. A forum for games such as "Dares" or "Kiss, Marry,
Kill" that clog up other forums. There are a TON of games that would be very well suited in a forum like this. You could call the forum "The Gameroom," "The Arcade,"
etc.
I know these forums are OCCASIONALLY used, but I feel like the topics talked about in these forums can just as easily be discussed in the Lounge. They really aren't as popular as the most-used forums: The Garage, The Kitchen, and The Gym. Getting rid of them or swapping them out with the newer forum ideas would be super cool.
4. Have a one-time option to change the email address associated with your account. As you know, I'm one of your moderators, and we've had some... Interesting problems with my account. However, if anything serious were to happen and you needed to contact me, the email linked to this account is inactive and cannot be reached. I know the email doesn't have much to do with an account once it's created, but it would make me feel safer knowing that my main account is linked to a working email address.

6. Private Messaging
7. Poll deletion option
8. Poll editing option
9. Account deletion
10. Ability to flag users as spammers/trolls -

No problem! Sorry I didn't explain all of them more. I was crunched for time when I initially posted, and these were other people's ideas. Felt wrong to try to own those ideas.

No, i actually agree with him on the 5 and 6. Well, maybe 5 will be useful but 6? 6 is out of the picture for me.

Deleting accounts, flagging accounts, vigilante removing accounts, has never stopped anything. 9 adds nothing. 5 adds nothing, wtf do you think the site is if you feel the need to block people. If someone needs to be blocked, they should just be taken out through already existing means. 6, why do you even need private messaging? WHy?

I like these ideas. I'd also like maybe a one time feature to maybe change or edit your username. I totally understand thst making a new account isn't hard, but I worked hard to level up, and I kinda feel like just changing my username to "mini" or something. Idk, just a thought

5 is unnecessary imo, just stay out of their threads. The private messaging thing is also iffy because you can just go in people's threads and talk, or it could cause drama

About the search feature...
You can always use Google...
"gotoquiz forums (username)" or "gotoquiz forums (username + thread name)" or "gotoquiz.com (quiz name + username).
This thread is locked, therefore no new posts can be made.
