We've never locked your threads when it comes to freedom of speech. We locked threads that were causing fights, though, or that were just made to cause trouble.

But in a more helpful form. Rather than seeing where it goes and then cleaning up a fight. We look for the warning signs and stop the fight before it happens

While you have freedom of speech the freedom doesn't protect you from any repercussions. No matter what you say someone is going to be offended and part of our job. Is to make sure those people don't take it out on you and everyone else. Where not trying to stop you from saying how you feel we're trying to prevent. The wrong thing from being said

you call for freedom of speech yet you want to control the way people express themselves by speech -
Actually the site ask you to speak a certain way in the rules. We just want to prevent fights before the start. Everywhere you go there is censorship in some for our another. Everywhere you go there are different rules and guidelines attached. You can write whatever you want in the newspaper as long as it's not slander. At school you can say what you want as long as it's not sexual or explicit. You can say whatever you want but there is a time and a place for that. Here we ask you be within reason and not to spread homophobic, racist, or hate speech. A lot of fights have started over the topic of this thread. This is a somewhat sensitive topic for some users and we don't need it to as far as it did the first time
